Below are resources that will be useful to you and your students who are studying for the OCR Schools History Project GCSE Historical Source Investigation: A study in British History: Public Health in Britain 1800–1914.
I am conscious that as this is a new strengthened examination for 2015 that my students needed extra support so the below has been created for them. I know others are in the same boat so thought it was important to share.
For each of the content areas below I have created a master class video, a fact file A4 sheet and I intend on creating a quiz / gap fill revision sheet too.
Content area a) The state of public health in the first half of the nineteenth century
Content area b) Demands for reform and reaction to these demands
Content area c) The beginnings of reform
Content area d) The need and pressures for further reform
Content area e) The Liberal welfare reforms of 1906–1912
