What does progression in sense of period look like ? UPDATE

Following my last post  I had quite of bit of feedback from Twitter and a brilliant reply from Ian Dawson. Ian brilliantly pointed out that where I had said that certain skills like ‘visual identity of a period’ was a low level skill, this is not necessarily true and that in different contexts it could in fact be a very high level skill. The opposite could also be said of ‘knowing values and beliefs’ which I said was a high level skill.

Anyway Ian suggested and I think rightly that it should not be a linear progression but maybe more of a menu of what you know and how you can use it. Hence a linear progression model has turned into a spherical model.

Any more feedback would be great as this is still not right I am sure!
